I feel like Mary Poppins in this cape

No capes? All the capes!

Even though it’s technically winter, Toronto will get hit with a little bit of sunny, warmer weather. This is usually precluded with a snow or rainstorm but I’m trying not to complain about those things and just be grateful for good weather. I find winter wear the hardest because on the one hand I want to look cute but on the other hand it’s cold and all I want to is to wear three pairs of leggings and an oversized parka and just be able to live my life.

So, when I get a chance to wear whatever I want without thinking so much about keeping warm or not having winter-appropriate footwear, I’m a happier person. Today was one of those days. I came home from classes and jumped at the chance to slide into a pair of jeggings, my favourite pair of ankle boots, and my trust navy blue cape, which I haven’t been able to wear since early December. Oh, and I have to mention my favourite purse in my closet. I found it at Winners in Ottawa of all places but I absolutely love it.
