I’m a minimalist in the 6ix

Some days, less is definitely more.

Whenever I think of minimalism, my mind immediately goes to black, white, and simple all over. Instead of pumping up my outfit with some over-the-top bling and footwear, I take a different approach and go for a more effortless kind of look. While black and white might be boring to some people, I actually love it. I get to play more with textures, length, and shapes. Don’t get me wrong. You can definitely do all those with colour. But there’s something about black and white, especially together, that can be just as eye-catching as wearing colours.

As or my outfit, I absolutely love my long sleeveless vest. It is an absolute necessity in my everyday life and such an easy piece to style over multiple seasons. I’m also pretty obsessed my flowy white blouse from Addition Elle. It’s part of the Rachel by Rachel Roy line and I’m quickly becoming obsessed with her designs. Last but not least, my Drake pin from Georgia Perry is my actual good luck charm and whenever I wear a vest I pin it on.

Check out photos below and as always outfit details are at the end.
