#OOTD: Sporty chic

Girly meets sporty.

Midi skirts are having a bit of a moment for me right now and I absolutely fell in love with this one from ASOS. The skirt’s perforated/mesh material with the varsity-looking striped waistband are sports-inspired. But the over-the-knee length and skirt’s fullness, especially when it catches the wind, make it super feminine. All to say, this skirt is the epitome of sporty-chic. I paired it with a beloved crop top by Jessica Simpson of al people. I found it at Winners and I loved it so much I went back and found it in black—because when you really love something, you get multiples.

Now, I technically should’ve worn a thicker coat because it’s like almost winter or something in Toronto. I can’t really tell because the weather is still above zero degrees (not complaining BTW) and I’ve been getting away with very fall-appropriate style choices. This is one of them. I chose my summer bomber from Reitmans. Truthfully, it wasn’t actually cold it was just hella windy (as seen in my Marilyn Monroe-esque photoshoot)
