My favourite outfits of 2017

So despite my various productivity dips this year whilst transitioning from being a full-time student to an official worker bee, I still managed to post quite a few #ootd posts. Self-five! I’m hoping this momentum will continue into the new year but we’ll see. I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite outfits from this year that I wore constantly. Check them out!

1. Leopard Vest + Mini Dress

It was love at first sight when I found this faux fur vest at Long Tall Sally earlier this year. I wore throughout the summer despite the warmer temperatures because I was that obsessed. Full post here.

2. Cape Blazer

My resolution for 2018 is to own more cape blazers. Like, nothing makes me feel more of a girlboss than this cape blazer. I bought this online from ASOS at the beginning of the year and wore it for my 24th birthday.

3. Brunch Please

Random purchases from Forever 21 are my favourite. I bought this tank top during a lowkey adventure to the mall and wasn’t expecting to wear it as much as I did. 2017 was the year of graphic tees for me. I don’t know if I’ll wear them as much in 2018. But I’ll never say never. Full post here.

4. Denim Jacket + T-shirt Dress

Truthfully this is the only denim jacket I own or have owned since I was a kid. I love the length of it. It’s such a great layering piece for my mini dresses. I may or may not decided to add patches and other embellishments in the new year. Full post here.

5. Velour Bomber + Tulle Skirt

Milennial pink has been around for a while but became a huge part of my wardrobe this year. Suddenly my pink tulle skirt was in constant rotation, especially during the summer and fall months. Also, can I mention that circle bag from Winners? I’m actually obsessed with it and proceeded to buy it in burgundy. Sorry not sorry. Full post here.

6. Minimalism + Matt & Nat

2017 was the year of the Matt & Nat bags for me. I went from owning a couple to owning like seven or eight. Oops. They’re just perfect. And my black clutch in particular was perfect for my minimalist moods (like this one). Full post here.

And that’s a wrap! I hope 2017 wasn’t too bad for you. Here’s to 2018. I’m praying it will amazing and magical for everyone. See you in the new year!
