Make life Glossier

A Glossier haul was in order.

My first introduction to Glossier was last summer during my internship. I went home with an adorable container of Wowder and the rest, as they say, is history. I’m pretty late to the game considering Glossier launched in 2014 but the cult-favourite beauty brand recently launched shipping to Canada so it all works out. I went to the pop up shop in Toronto in the fall and stocked up on a few covetable products. This time around I wanted to try a few more.

The Balm DotCom

was surprised by how quickly I fell in love with Glossier’s Balm DotCom. It’s a multipurpose moisturizer and I carry it with me everywhere now. I can use it anywhere on my body but I usually stick to my lips and hands. It’s the perfect size because it fits in the tiniest of clutches. All to say, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Phases

The Phase One Set was at the top of my list, mostly because it included the priming moisturizer I’m currently obsessed with. I’m excited to try out Jelly Cleanser and will report back with how my skin is handling it. I’m pretty sure it’ll be another fave.

Oh, boy brow

One of Glossier’s hero products is Boy Brow. I finally got my hands on it and I can definitely see why it’s an instant favourite. The brush is tiny which allows more control and dispenses the perfect amount of product to groom and fill brows. I’m pretty big on brows right now (isn’t everyone?) so it’s nice to know I only need a couple products to tame them. I use Boy Brow in Black to set my brows after I’ve brush them out and shaped them with either Total Temptation Brow Definer or mascara (and yes, I use mascara on my brows sometimes). I just love how Boy Brow separates and defines all my brow hairs. I get these beautiful, feathery model brows and I love it.

Lip gloss poppin’

I’ve been a long-time fan of Glossier’s lip-gloss, which brings be back to the 90s. Like many girls my age, I transitioned from Lip Smackers (although they also had lip-gloss at one point) to a “glossier” lip product. Sometimes I’d purchase the scented roll-on lip-gloss from the dollar store. Other times I would just use Vaseline. Now, as an adult, I can splurge on a cuter and more superior product. I buy Glossier’s Lip Gloss in multiples because I literally can’t stop using them.

The Glossier scent

The last thing I’m super excited about is the Glossier You Solid perfume. I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan of the actual fragrance when it first dropped last fall. But there’s something about the solid perfume that I’m actually okay with. Maybe I got used to it? Either way, it’s the perfect travel size and I’m living for it.

  1. I haven’t tried them yet, but I’ve got a Glossier haul planned. I’m just waiting to get this month’s ipsy first because they’re sending me a sample of Balm Dotcom. I’m glad you’re loving it!
