YAYOI KUSAMA IN THE 6IX

I remember the first time I heard about Yayoi Kusama. It was about three years ago and like any other university student I was stu-dying. During one of my many study breaks I ended up on Tumblr and came across a post about Yayoi Kusama, her art, and her incredible story. I always thought to myself if I ever had an opportunity to see her installations in person I would do it.

A few years later, the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in Toronto announced that it would host Kusama’s renowned art exhibit for a few months and I knew the stars had aligned. I went with a friend and although the lines were insanely long, being able to go was kind of a dream come true.

Check out the photos below of my visit.
