The six things on my 2025 Christmas wish list

The list has been made.

It’s finally the most wonderful time of year, but I’ve honestly been in holiday mode since early September. Between writing gift guides and squirrelling away gifts for friends and family over the last few months, the holiday season has taken over my calendar, home, and mental state. But now that December is here and all the gift guides have been published, I can finally focus on my own holiday wish list. Here are a few things I’m wishing for this year.

The perfect red bag

While I already have an impressive collection of handbags, there is always an outfit that makes me think I should add a new bag into the mix. Over the summer, I realized that I have a newfound obsession with all things gingham and my satiny bow bag from A Bronze Age doesn’t always match the vibe of a more casual, down-to-earth print like gingham. Enter my latest shopping quest to find the perfect red bag. This gingham print bag from Coach sold out months ago, but I’ve been using it as inspiration for future fashion finds.

All the Glossier merch

As a longtime fan of Glossier, I can admit that I’ve probably spent more money on merch than on actual beauty products. But in my defence, it’s so good. From cozy hoodies and picnic blankets to bag charms and cosmetic bags, there is always something from the Glossier Goods section that I’m eyeing. This year, I’ve been dying to get my hands on one of their limited edition lighters and although I don’t have AirPods, I’ve added the carrying case to my wish list, too. If I had to dream up another possible merch idea, I’d ask for a little bag charm/case for my lip gloss. I know Fenty Beauty and Bath and Body Works have dropped similar products earlier this year, and I’d love to see Glossier’s take on the trending accessory.

Something Selkie

A girl never forgets her first Selkie dress. I bought mine from Anthropologie about a year ago and I’ve been trying to add more pieces to my wardrobe ever since. I have two full-length gowns already, so I would love to get a mini dress to add some variety. But my number one pick would be a puffy pink gown. I think it includes all the classic Selkie details and it’s in my favourite colour!

Out of this world winter boots

I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t always a fan of these boots. I remember seeing someone wear them on the bus when I was in high school and thought they were so over the top. Fast forward over a decade later and I’m finally on board. With Après-ski fashion trending again this year, I’ve been trying to build out my winter wardrobe to include some cute and practical pieces. What colour, you ask? Why, of course, in pink!

Dreamy dinnerware

Maybe I’m in my hostess era, because I cannot stop shopping for all things dinnerware. I’ve been stalking a few stores—namely HomeSense, Anthropologie, Simons, and H&M—and adding all kinds of items to my physical and online shopping cart. I have a few pieces from Fable Home in Blush Pink that I haven’t taken out of their boxes yet, because I want to have everything in one place. My theme is pink, bows, and pearls, so I’m hoping to find a great table cloth, some taper candles and holders, and cute napkin rings.

A big trip

As much as I would have loved to travel this year, it just didn’t work out. So I’m hoping that 2026 will be a big year of travel for me. I have a few countries on my list: Greece, Ireland, and France are probably my top three, but honestly I’m open to anywhere. I’m looking for my next big adventure!
