I’ve been waiting for this moment all year.
One of my favourite things about fall, apart from the rapidly cooling temperatures and endless flow of hot beverages, is the reappearance of burgundy-hued items. From clothing to makeup and all the accessories in between, burgundy is undoubtedly an autumn staple. I’m not super picky about the exact shade of burgundy but anything in that range of rich, deep red is a go-to for me during the fall and even winter months. Literally.
I was in Forever21 and I saw this long-sleeved top and made a beeline for it. I didn’t even mind that it was a turtleneck, which until recently I’ve avoided—‘cause reasons. Though the actual shirt was thin, and I wasn’t completely sold on the ribbed texture, I ended up buying. I’m glad I did. It worked perfectly with my black midi skirt and I’ll probably be living in that outfit for the rest of 2017.
