#OOTD: Monchromatic pastels for spring

Pastels? For spring? Groundbreaking.

Spring is in but Toronto hasn’t completely shrugged off the cool wintry days. We’re hovering somewhere between 0 and 10 degrees on any given day with a potential for snow. It’s April in Canada. And, because this transitional weather is so confusing my closet is mishmash of seasons. While I’ve pulled my spring and summer clothing out of storage, I have very few places to put them in my room because I’m begrudgingly holding onto my winter turtlenecks and padded puffer jackets. For warmth, of course.

But, I’m still so desperate to kick off this spring season and start wearing my shift dresses, pleated skirts, and short sleeve tops without a dozen layers over them. I’ve comprised by meeting the two seasons together with a sweater-skirt combination. And, it just so happens I found a sweater I picked up at Joe Fresh that matches my beloved pleated skirt from ASOS. The combination screams spring with a little monochromatic touch that we’re carrying over from 2018’s fall season.

Check out the photos below and as always outfit details are at the bottom.
