The things I can’t leave the house without.
Summer is slipping away and I’m trying to enjoy every second of it. If I’m not working away at my computer, or camped out in my bedroom reading, I’m making my way downtown for all kinds of city shenanigans with friends and family. Lately, I have been absolutely obsessed with my little straw purse from Winners. It was a total impulse by but I’ve more than made up for it by wearing it every chance I get. I’ve been trying a bunch of new products recently and I thought I’d write about the ones I’m really liking right now. Also, I just love a good flat lay.

Beauty finds
It’s funny how some products come back into your life and then you realize how much you love them. I feel this way about the Cake Beauty Hand Cream. For my birthday month, I wrote a review about the entire line but I’ve been using the hand cream a lot recently. I just really like the scent and how soft my hands are after I use it.
I also fell in love with a new lip balm and I want to talk about it as much as I can. The way I became obsessed with the Fenty Beauty lip balm shouldn’t have been surprise but it was. You know when you look for an excuse to put more lip gloss on? That’s how I feel about this lip balm, which has a bit of a glossy finish. I bought it almost a month ago and I think it’s almost empty by this point. It will definitely be on my next repurchase list.

Phone case love
If you’ve followed my posts for a while or looked at my Instagram, you’d know I have a small, undeniable obsession with phone cases. And, because I have an iPhone, I can play around with all kinds of unique and funky looking cases. I love getting mine from Winners and HomeSense because I always find something different. My current phone case is a cassette tape and I love it so much. Not only is it reminiscent of 80s mixtape culture but it’s also pink, one of my favourite colours.
What’s in your purse these days? Any products you’re absolutely obsessed with? Tell me in the comments!
