Olive green is my fall and winter colour this year

~Olive~ this colour so much.

My closet is pretty colourful, but I’ve noticed that there’s a lot more olive green pieces now. Last year, I decided green was my favourite colour to wear, and apparently I’m continuing that theme this year. The only difference is that I’ve add a few lovely olive green pieces to my wardrobe and I’ve been wearing them nonstop lately. It’s almost a neutral colour, so it was super easy to incorporate into my closet. Instead of wearing black or grey, I would pull out these olive green pieces. It’s such a subtle way to add a little colour to my outfit, without being overly bright.

Check out the three olive green pieces I’ve been wearing and how I styled them.

A soft turtleneck sweater

It’s officially sweater weather and this cozy turtleneck is quickly becoming one of my go-tos. It’s so soft and it’s long enough that I can wear it with a pair of leggings. I’ve also worn it with a midi skirt, but now that it’s getting colder, I usually wear it with pants. This time around, I styled it with my faux leather leggings and my over-the-top metallic rain jacket to add a little extra something to my look. And because I’m obsessed with booties, I finished off my outfit with these lace up heels that have little gold accents.

A pleated skirt

I already have quite a few pleated skirts in my closet, so this one was just another addition to my collection. I think it’s perfect for fall and winter because it’s a little more subtle than the other ones I have. that come in bright colours of pink, yellow, and pastel blue. It’s also super easy to pair with the rest of my fall clothes, which tend to be darker shades of blue, grey, and black. I styled this skirt with my favourite turtleneck to create a chic, but comfy look. Then I added the belt to add a little bling and my suede booties to contrast with my black shirt.

A chunky knit sweater

The only thing better than one sweater is two! I love the chunky knit pattern on this one because it adds a little texture to my look. It’s a lot shorter than my other turtleneck and it’s a bit thicker, too. I always wear it with my favourite pair of mom jeans and a pair of white sneakers for a comfy chic look.
