Mixing textures: faux fur & denim
The city is slowly warming up and I’m taking full advantage of the transitional weather. As long as I don’t have to wear my Sorels (yes I own Sorels) then I’m good. I was so excited to pull out my favourite faux fur jacket and my boyfriend jeans from the back of my closet. My love for overalls is unconditional. As a true 90s kid, I had my own collection of OshKosh overalls in various colours up until the time I was about six or seven. I distinctly remember a pair of faded corduroy overalls that I used to wear with a dark purple turtleneck. Like I said, I’m a 90s kid.

After surviving several winters in the capital city, it’s always nice to experience the milder Toronto winter for a few days. I’m proud to say my winter style has improved over the last few years. Instead of surrendering to winter by wearing clunky boots and a giant parka, I try to take advantage of the warmer temperatures recently to wear a good outfit. Seriously, I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to comfy chic.
