I’ve fallen in love with almost every product Biossance makes and the new Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial did not disappoint.
I’ll be honest and admit that I don’t like exfoliating. It’s one of those skincare chores I’d rather not worry about but love the results enough to do it anyway. That smooth, glowy look I get after scrubbing away all the dead skin with one of my favourite exfoliators is the only reason I continue to do it.
The game changer
I recently learned about chemical exfoliants, and finally tried Biossance’s 3-in-1 glycolic facial. The clean beauty brand teased skincare lovers everywhere this summer with a new addition to their cult collection:
A couple days later, we learned the product was the Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial. It’s an all-in-one peel, mask and exfoliator—or as I like to call it, a triple threat.
The ingredients are noteworthy
The Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial is packed with glycolic acid, AHAs, micro mineral particles, hyaluronic acid and squalane (Biossance’s hero ingredient). Together these ingredients help to remove dead skin cells, smooth out fine lines and discoloration, and leave skin feeling soft and hydrated.
I use it once a week
Not only do I love the texture, which is soft, creamy and unlike any face scrub I’ve tried before, but I really like the colour and scent as well.
I use it once a week, after I wash my face. Because it’s a 3-in-1 product, you can really choose how you want to use it. I love that I can leave it on my face for 10 to 15 minutes as a mask before massaging it into my face and then rinsing the rest off. My skin feels so much smoother and noticeably brighter each time I use it.
The biggest difference I’ve noticed when I use the Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial instead of another product is that my skin doesn’t feel as tight or dry when I rinse it off. I would normally reach for my Vichy Mineral 89 immediately for fear my face will crack from dryness but I’m totally fine after using the gycolic facial. I call that a major skin win!
