It’s like being wrapped in a warm hug.
One of my favourite places to go in the city is the Distillery District. It’s like being transported back in time to industrial Toronto but with a collection of modern boutiques and stores that I could spend hours shopping in. And then, when I’m all shopped out, I’ll make my way over to Cacao 70 for a little sugar fix by the way of hot chocolate and waffles with all the fixings. Yum.
In the winter, the Distillery District hosts a month long Christmas market and it’s become a tradition of mine to visit every year. I love going during the day because it’s not as busy but there’s nothing like seeing all the lights at night.
I wore one of my newest faux fur jackets that I purchased from Hudson’s Bay during the Black Friday rush. It’s by Rachel Roy and I’d been stalking it online for weeks prior. It’s so soft and I was impressed by how warm it was. I may not be able to wear it for the majority of the winter but this will definitely be a fall favourite.
