Turtlenecks are better in pink

Pretty in pink.

Another week means another winter #ootd post. The last couple days have been above zero degrees in Toronto and I’ve taken advantage of the warm weather. If I navigate the deceiving and deadly pockets of ice carefully, I can wear pretty much anything. It’s a nice change from living in my Timberlands for the last few weeks. But, with all the snow, freezing rain, and other winter precipitation I didn’t want to chance falling—again. The suede ankle boots in this post were a necessity despite the layers of ice covering the sidewalks. I haven’t worn them nearly enough this winter and I’m trying to rectify that fashion error as soon as possible.

February is winding down and I’m thankful. It may be the shortest month of the year but I’m ready to move onto a newer, and possibly less wintery month. I’m pretty much living in my sweaters and pants and I’ve been dying to wear a skirt—or a dress, anything really. This time around I actually wore jeans, which is a rare occurrence for me. But, these dark wash jeans from Addition Elle were the perfect item to wear with my oversized turtleneck sweater. It’s so cozy and the faded pink is a subtle pop of colour that completes the look. Oh, and then obviously there’s that faux fur leopard print coat I’m so fond of.

Check out the photos below and as always outfit details are at the bottom.
