The beauty products I’m obsessing over this fall

Falling in love with these beauty products.

I don’t know about you, but my makeup routine has changed completely over the last few months. And by change, I mean it’s nonexistent. There are some days when I’ll put on foundation and tame my brows with a little gel, but that’s pretty much it. Still, there are a couple products that I’ve been using more often these days, and I thought I’d write about them this month. Here are the beauty products I can’t stop using:

Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, sephora.com.

An overnight mask by Fresh

I love a good mask, especially one I don’t have to wipe off afterward.  The only overnight mask I use is the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask, which leaves my lips feeling soft and hydrated every morning. I also like their Water Sleeping Mask, but I find it’s not as hydrating during the drier months like fall and winter. It’s great for summer. This Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask is actually magic. It has a thick, creamy texture that sinks deep into my skin after a few minutes. And the next morning, my skin is incredibly soft, plump, and hydrated. It’s a bit more on the expensive side, but totally worth it. I got the mini size, and I’m not even halfway through after using it for a few weeks.

A creamy blush by Glossier

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about Glossier’s Cloud Paint. I started using it again recently and realized I never should have stopped, because it’s just that good. Even if I’m not wearing foundation, I like that a little dollop of this blush can add a little colour and life to my skin. I also love using a bit on my lips as a stain (we love a multipurpose product). The purple-pink shade, Haze, has always been my favourite. It complements my deep skin tone so well, and it’s pigmented enough that I really don’t need a lot. But, I’ve also fallen in love with this orange shade, Dawn, which was a huge surprise for me. It’s not a shade that I would normally pick for myself, but I bought it after seeing photos on the website. I have a neutral undertone, so I like that using this blush to warm up my skin. And, now that it’s fall, I find I’ve been reaching for it a bit more than the other one. I’ve also tried using them together and the combo is kind of amazing.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, sephora.com.

A Buttery Lip Balm by Summer Fridays

This lippie is somewhere between a lip balm and a mask, if I’m being honest. It doesn’t have the same thickness as a traditional lip mask, but it’s definitely heavier than a traditional balm. I bought it during the summer, but noticed I was using much more in the last few weeks as it’s gotten colder and drier outside. It’s perfect for this transitional weather I’m experiencing right in Toronto. Plus, it’s packed with shea butter, which is a super moisturizing ingredient you’d want to find in a lip product like this. I love using it first thing in the morning when I wake up, so my lips have time to absorb the product before I put on makeup for the day. I tend to use a thicker lip mask at night like the LANEIGE or the Milk Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask, but this one is a great alternative, too.

What beauty products are you using and loving right now? Did you see anything in this post that you’re dying to try? Tell me in the comments.
